Abstract: The tw o-phase particle softening HfB composites w ere prepared by means of mixing and
hot-pressing. T heir compressive properties, hot expansion coefficient, ablation resistance and the
microstructure w ere studied. The results show ed that the compressive properties of the H fB2 com-
