男性原发性干燥综合征临床特点分析（Analysis of clinical characteristics of male primary Sjogren syndrome） Analysis of clinical characteristics of male primary Sjogren syndrome 2010-09-06 Zeng Wei, Zhang Lijun, Wu Min, Tang Fulin, Dong Yi Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of primary Sjogrens syndrome (pSS) in men and to understand the difference between men and women. Methods the clinical data of 77 cases of primary Sjogrens syndrome in 30 males and twelve females were analyzed. Results the onset age of male pSS was (47 + 12) years, and the average time of onset to diagnosis was (6.1 + 6) years, and there was no significant difference between the two groups compared with the female group. The initial symptoms of male pSS group and female group were varied, but the symptoms of mouth dryness, joint pain, pulmonary fibrosis, renal tubular acidosis and skin performance were relatively large. Compared with the female group, the initial rate of mouth and eye dryness was low, and the initial rate of pulmonary fibrosis was high (P 0.05). Compared with the clinical manifestations, there were significant differences in the two groups (P 0.05) between mouth dryness, pulmonary fibrosis, urine pH 7, corneal fluorescence staining, saliva flow rate, RF and anti SSA anti SSB antibody. Conclusion compared with the female pSS, the male pSS is characterized by: the symptoms of mouth dryness appear later, the incidence is lower, the symptoms are mild, and the parotid gland damage is not different from that of the female. The damage of lung occurred earlier, and the incidence of pulmonary fibrosis was high. The positive rates of RF and anti SSA and anti SSB antibodies were low.
