翻译涉及两种文化的交流（Translation involves the exchange of two cultures） Abstract: translation involves the exchange of two cultures. One of the functions of translation is to introduce the source language culture to the target language readers. One of the difficult questions in translation is how to deal with cultural expressions. This paper analyzes the influence of cultural differences between Chinese and Western cultures on cultural vocabulary translation, and probes into the Countermeasures of cultural vocabulary translation through a large number of translation examples. I. Introduction Translation is not only the transfer of information from one language to another, but also involves the exchange of related cultures. Human beings have many common features in language use, which help to reduce many obstacles in translation. However, in many ways, each country has its different ways of conveying information, reflecting differences between cultures. Therefore, translation must conform to changes. How to deal with the relationship between the two cultures in the process of translation plays an important role in the study of intercultural communication. The cultural factors in translation are also complex and difficult to grasp. As the core part of language, vocabulary bears all aspects of culture, resulting in highly cultural vocabulary. In translation practice, we can only understand the cultural connotations of the two languages and grasp the characteristics of them so as to reduce the mistakes in the translation of cultural words. This paper will discuss the influence of cultural differences between China and Western countries on cultural vocabulary translation from five aspects, and discuss the relevant cultural translation strategies. Two, the influence of cultural differences between China and the West on the translation of cultural words (1) the influence of the surface meaning of words on translation; in different cultural backgrounds, words have specific meanings.
