Methods: The S180 mouse sarcoma models were established, and putted into different groups according to the weight. Inhibition rate and body weight influenced by Herba Sarcandrae were detected in the synergistic experiment. The peripheral blood, thymus and spleen index were detected in the attenuation experiment. Results: The antitumor effect of the low-dose CTX was enhanced observably; the toxicity of the large-dose CTX on peripheral blood white blood cells and platelets, the thymus and spleen index were alleviated by the total flavonoids of Herba Sarcandrae. Conclusion: The total flavonoids of Herba Sarcandrae have synergistic effects to low-dose chemotherapy drugs CTX and attenuation effects to the large-dose of CTX.
