Introduction If we want to determine the most comprehensive and covered theme of the times in Contemporary Chinese legal practice, then the question of legal development is undoubtedly the most qualified to call such a theme. The development of law problems due to the two basic realities of contemporary Chinese and highlights its significance and importance to solve the urgency; on the one hand, the 10 year of the Cultural Revolution was almost destroyed by the beginning of the founding of the already established legal foundation is not solid, on the other hand, the improvement of the legal system related to the city economy the field of political democratization and the direction of social reform and the urgent need. Under the background of this kind of times, the development of law has become a practice subject which is deeply concerned and studied by many Chinese law firms which are strengthening their theoretical construction. This is not to analyze the research results of all kinds of legal problems on the development of contemporary Chinese law specific, but only want to investigate the theoretical framework for the study of contemporary China legal development and basic ideas, namely the two main paradigms Chinese in law research in the development of the law: the modernization paradigm and localization paradigm. This paper compares and analyzes the paradigm of modernization and the paradigm of localization in seven aspects.
