Verbal humor includes jokes and riddles. You and your friends probably use this kind of humor every day. Words are very important when creating a comic strip. You can tell a story or create a situation and make it funny (or funnier) by the words that you choose. Here’s an example: It’s funny, but we can make it better. Let’s change a few words... See? Thats funnier. We’ve replaced “DRESS” with “MUMU” and “FOOD” with “PORK CHOPS” -- words that are more specific, descriptive, and funny. You can make something funnier by replacing an ordinary word with a funny word.
