It is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine for cooling blood, stopping bleeding, relieving cough and eliminating phlegm. It is a kind of Medicine carried out in Chinese pharmacopoeia. The main components of Platycladus orientalis leaves are flavonoids, tannins and volatile oils. One of the main effective components of antitussive and expectorant and hemostasis for Flavonoids in quercetin glycosides. The structure of flavonoids is relatively complex, it is difficult to separate them, the current commonly used analysis methods for taking Lu Ding as control sample was determined by UV content of total flavonoids in spectrophotometry for rutin (Lu Ding) and flavonoids Platycladus orientalis leaf of main components in different structure of mistletoe hesperidin in the absorption wavelength, also vary, can not correctly reflect the inherent quality of Cacumen platycladi. To correctly reflect the quality of Platycladus orientalis leaf in the content determination method has not been reported. In this paper, using reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography, quercitrin quercetin glycoside as index, establish a method for the determination of the content of Platycladus orientalis. Experiments show that this method is accurate, sensitive, simple and rapid, the selected indicators of quercetin can accurately reflect the intrinsic quality of Platycladus orientalis, can be used as a qua
