In order to investigate the effect and mechanism of combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of chronic aplastic anemia, now since 1996 we used astragalus injection of hydrocortisone winstrol imidazole (SSL) combined with ancient rotary treatment were reported and discussed the results of 36 cases of patients with chronic aplastic anemia. 1 clinical information The group of 36 cases were confirmed by clinical, hemogram, bone marrow examination, diagnostic criteria, according to the 1987 National formulation of the 1 diagnosis of aplastic anemia. Of the 36 patients, 15 were male and 21 were female. The ratio of male to female was 1 to 1.4; the age of onset was 15~72 years, and the median age was 37 years. And a control group of 30 cases, in our hospital using SSL treatment of 40 cases of chronic aplastic anemia in random sampling was obtained. The sex, age, average course of disease, hemogram and marrow appearance of the two groups were not statistically different (P 0.05). 2 treatment Huangqi injection group, in the SSL scheme (winstrol 2 mg, 3 /d; levamisole 50 mg, 3 /d; securinine 16 mg, 1 IM, /d) on the basis of the astragalus injection (Chengdu Diaojiuhong pharmaceutical factory) from 20 to 40 ml/d, adding 5% glucose saline intravenous infusion continuous, 20 d for 1 courses, 10 d interval repeat 1 course. Usually 3 courses of treatment are used. The control group was treated only with SSL regimen. The hemogram, liver and kidney function were measured during treatment. Anemia (hem
