The eleventh chapter, psychological health education
Section 1 Outline of mental health
I. significance and standards of mental health
Health should include physical, psychological and social adjustment. The so-called mental health, is a good and lasting psychological condition and process, the performance of individuals with the vitality, positive inner experience, good social adaptation, can effectively play the individual physical and mental potential as well as a member of society the positive social function.
The researchers summed up six criteria for mental health: the effective perception of reality. Self-awareness, self-esteem and self acceptance. The self adjustment ability. The ability to build close relationships with people. Stability and coordination of personality structure. The enthusiasm for life and work efficiency.
Two, the mental health problems of middle school students
The mental disorders which are prone to the students listed below belong to the scope of psychological guidance and treatment.
(I) anxiety disorder
Anxiety neurosis is characterized by an anxiety response that is not appropriate to objective threats. This is a case of anxiety as an independent neurosis.
The common anxiety reaction among students is test anxiety.
Using the method of muscle relaxation and systematic desensitization, and using the self-help cognitive correction program to guide the students to use positive self talk in the examination, they have a good effect on alleviating the test anxiety of students.
(two) depression
Depression is a neurosis characterized by persistent depression. Anxiety is the first response of an individual to a stressful situation.
Depression is characterized by feelings of negativity, sadness, decadence, apathy, loss of satisfaction, and enjoyment of life. Two, negative cognitive tendency. Three is lack of motivation. Four is physical fatigue, insomnia, loss of appetite and so on.
