紧急无线电示位标(epirb)（Emergency radio beacon (EPIRB)） Emergency radio beacon (EPIRB) Function of 1.EPIRB system Alarm (alarm): when the carrier is in danger, it can automatically or manually launch distress alarm. Identification (identification): the transmitted alarm signal contains identification information to facilitate identification of the vector. Location (position): position information (GPS) in a signal, or its position is calculated by detecting the signal emitted by it (using Doppler effect). (homing) function: 121.5MHz (for aircraft location) or built-in SART. 2.EPIRB classification (1) COSPAS-SARSAT system 406MHz EPIRB; applicable to all sea areas. (2) INMARSAT system L-EPIRB (1.6GHz); applies INMARSAT coverage area. (shut down the L-EPIRB system in December 1, 2006, and the International Mobile Satellite Organization no longer offers it.) (3) VHF-EPIRB (CH70) in ground communication system; suitable for A1 sea area.
