Abstract
Inthevastloessarealoessusuallybe asroadbedfillerfillinginsubgrade,Thestabilityof
loess subgradelargelydeterminestheperformance andoperationalstatusoftheroad.CBR as
animportantparameter forflexiblepavement designandstrengthofroadbed fillerindicators
have important influence to the strength of road.Currently, the values of CBR are usually
selected using uniform standards, which is significantly differ from the actual.If weather
conditions canbe combined invarious regions asthereasonable value in selected CBRwill
havesignificantimplicationsforthedesignandconstructionofroads.
In orderto studythe variation of CBR value under the influence of different factors,in
the articletakethe loessofGansuKongjiayuan and ShanxiShijiazhuangloess sectionasthe
study object,through the CBR laboratory tests to studythe factors of CBR value ofthe two
loesssections.Byusingthe experimentaldesignmethodofquadraticregressionorthogonalto
study the loess samples of Shijiazhuang sectional .Design CBR values under different
compactness,moisture content and soakingtime three factors and four levels of orthogonal
test to studythe different effects of various factors.According to the experimentalresults of
quadraticregression orthogonalreach conclusion formulasaboutCBRvalue inthree factors.
Through analysis,obtained the variation of loess CBR values in univariate and multivariate
effects.The loess samples of two sections were in certain times of (respectively 1,3,5,7,10
times) freeze-thawcycles.Testsallconductattheheavy compaction standardunder optimum
moisture conditions.Throughexperimental studyobtained the changesof specimensurface
condition, reach conclusion about the variation of CBR values and internal moisture before
and after soaking after freezing-thawing. Through analysis the results of test obtained the
variation of CBR at various factors. It have important significance for the design and
