By introducing information entropy and conditional information entropy, the necessity of attributes in information system are defined; proposes a conditional information entropy for knowledge reduction based on heuristic algorithm, and points out that the time complexity of the algorithm is polynomial. The example shows that the algorithm can reduce the information table and minimize the relative reduction of the decision table.
