Abstract 　 Objective Toinvestigatetheeffectsofursolicacid UA onxenograftsgrowthinosteosarcomaofnude 【】：（） mice.Methods：Nudemicemodelsbearinghumanosteosarcomaweremadebyinjectinginoculationhumanosteosarco- macancerMG－63celllineandweretreatedwithdifferentconcentrationsofUA ［5，10，20mg／（kg ·d）］andcispl- atin （2mg／kg）for5days，onceaday.ThehistopathologicalchangesoftumortissuewasobservedbyHEstaining.The tumorcellsapoptosiswasdetectedbyTUNEL.Theexpressionofcaspase－3 Bax bcl－2proteinweredetectedby ，， IHCandweresemi－quantitativeanalyzed.Results：Comparedwithmodelgroup，thenecrosispresentation，tumorcell shrinkageandotherpathologicalmorphologicalchangesappeared.ThenumberofapoptoticcellsintumortissueofUA treatedgroupsweresignificantlyincreased.Thetumorweightweredecreasedandtheinhibitionratewereincreased. TheexpressionofBaxandcaspase－3 weresignificantlyincreasedandthebcl－2 proteinwassignificantlyde- creased，andtheratioofBax／bcl－2weresignificantlyincreased.AlloftheeffectsofUAaboveweredose－depend- entwithacertain.Conclusion：UAhadinhibitiveeffectsonxenograftsgrowthinosteosarcomacancerofnudemice perhapsthroughdepressingapoptosis，whichperhapsrelatedtoitseffectsofregulatingtheexpressionofapoptosis－re- latedproteins （caspase－3，Bax，bcl－2）andincreasingtherati
