Teaching important difficult points 1. Words: community, drummer, furnished, bachelor, expose, alcoholic, adolescent, departure, lounge, suite, classify, maid, laundry, tailor, fortnight, adolescence, antique, statesman, bedding, bungalow, smog. 2. To improve their reading abilities. 3. How to get the general idea in a limited time. Teaching procedures Step 1: Greetings and warming up. T: Look at the screen, what are the people doing in the pictures? S: Quarrels in families. T: Yes, very good! And next one. S: Conflicts in communities. T: OK! Class, Listen to me! Today we are going to learn an article about living in a community. Step 2: Learn the new words. 1.
