教学目标:
1.知识目标:
1)进一步学习和掌握有关方位的词汇,强化听说读的综合技能:near, next to, behind, between---and,in front of…
2)学习掌握新的交际用语: When is the …? The … is near…等等
3)学习城市基础设施的词汇:supermarket, train station, park, movie theater, swimming pool, zoo, school…
2.能力目标:
1)能够正确询问他人有关地点并对他人的询问做出正确的回答。
2)能够使用turn left turn right 指引他人到达目的地。
3.情感目标:
1)通过帮助他人到达目的地获得成就感。
2)在小组练习活动中体验帮助他人学习的快乐。
教学重点:
1 学习有关方位的词汇:near, next to, behind, between…and …, in front of在相应情景中的正确运用。
2使用Where is the …?进行询问 并会使用相应介词进行回答。

教学难点:
能够使用turn left turn right 指引他人到达目的地。
教具准备:
1 计算机及自制教学课件。
2 录音机及磁带。
3 复印好的课堂活动纸。
过程:
一、热身及复习(Warm up)Follow me and do the action
(1) left right go straight
(2) turn left, turn right, go straight
二、新语言呈现与学习(Presentation)
(一)出示几个城镇的照片并引入课题
1、穆家峪镇照片ook ,Mujiayu Town.
2、河南寨镇照片This is Henanzhai Town. It’s my town.
3、太师屯镇图片Taishitun Town. Whose town is it?
(Is it my town? Is it your town?)
Ss: It’s my town.
All of you can say “It’s our town”.
4、 Today we’ll learn the story about town
Unit 5(提前写上)师板书课题Our town并带读town
(二) 学习故事
整体感知课文
(1) Let’s watch and answer.
课件上 Who are they in the story?
Whose town is it? (链接到课文)
(2) Answer the question (Can you see Ann?)
(3) What buildings can you see?
(Can you see a zoo? What else can you see? Can you see a movie theater?)
(4) T: Where is the supermarket?
Ss: It’s next to the post office.
(5) 老师出示并领读post office
听两遍后回答It’s next to the post office.
(6) 练习问答 练习问 Where is the zoo?
师出示单词zoo卡片并领读
T: Where is the zoo? (板书)
Ss: It’s between the lake and the park. (板书)
师出示卡片 between领读
处理between …and …( 用学生座位)
Where is she?
She is between … and ….
Where is he?
三语言操练(Practice)
1 练习 Where is the …?
2 练习 How to get there? (如有时间可进行)
T: 进行德育教育:
外国人到我们中国来,现在我们学好英语到那时就能更好地介绍我们的家乡了。好不好?
