GREETING 2. CHANT: “I WALKED TO THE ZOO” Teach the students this simple chant to review animal names, hold up vocabulary cards for elephant, tiger, lion, kangaroo, monkey, wolf. 二New Concepts 1. STUDENT BOOK: L27 N1 Discuss the photograph in Chinese. a. What do you see? b. Do you like the photograph? Explain that it was taken in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and that many people from all over the world visit the Rocky Mountains. Point to the small pictures under the photograph as the teacher and the students say each word a few times. Translate each word. 教学侧记 Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books. 2. PRACTICE Ask the students to draw a picture showing all the new vocabulary. Ask them to label their pictures in English. 3. STUDENT BOOK: L27 N2 Demonstrate in front of and behind.
