Therefore, the management pattern of traditional higher education needs to move from traditional academic ivory towers toward more practical business sectors, and the focus of instruction also transfers from professor’s class lecture to student’s learning efficiency. Based on the official data, this paper first tries to demonstrate the status quo of Taiwan’s higher education through the diagrams presentation. Then, the paper presents the major challenges to Taiwan’s higher education in the future.
