Moreover, it describes the phenomena of power distance in reality in terms of paternalism, workplace relations and relations between teachers and students in both countries. In addiction, the different reasons why power distance came into being respectively in China and America are illustrated in the later part of this paper. And finally it provides several solutions to the communication barriers incurred by such difference.
