Abstrac:tResearchpurpose:sRailwayballastbedisatypicalgranularstructur,ethuswithspecialfocusonthedistinct
behaviorofrailwayballas,taspatialcouplingsleeper-ballastmodelisestablishedusingthediscreteelementmethod.
Theresearchesaredoneontheraiwlayballastvibrationbehaviorandthedynamicresponseofballastgranulethrough
loadingthedynamictmiedomainspectroscopyofhigh-speedtrain.
Researchconclusions:Throughestablishingthemodelandcalculation, themodelvalidationisverifiedbycomparingthe
calculationresultswiththetestresults.Basedon,ittheanalysisofthedynamiccharacteristicsofrailwayballastis
made.Theresultsshowthatthecontactforcebetweenballaststransfersasnearly45 °, andthereexistsavibration
superpositioneffectwithintheballastunderneighboringsleepersfortheballastvibrationaccelerationandballastcontact
force.Theballastvibrationacceleration, thedynamicdisplacementandthecontactforcearereducedasthedepthofthe
