The cDNA is 1661bp in length and contains an open reading f rame f rom 26 t o 1570bp, encoding a protein of 517 amino acid residues. The GenBank Ac- cession number is AY971374. Compareing the dndrogram of cytochrome P450s from insect CYP6 family and t he nu- cleotides of 5c-UTR, it is concluded that the evolutionary level of the CYP6 is similar to those from moth and butter- flies.
