Step 1 准备与热身(Preparation)
T:Look at the words on the blackboard:interesting,boring,fun,difficult,relaxing.Lets make sentences together!
Example:
interesting→ My English class is interesting.
Now please finish the sentences after it! Do you want to have a try?
boring→________________________________________________________________________
fun→________________________________________________________________________
difficult→________________________________________________________________________
relaxing→________________________________________________________________________
Step 2 呈现与输入 (Presentation)
Write the words interesting,boring,fun,difficult and relaxing on the blackboard.Ask students to guess what the meaning of the pictures are like this:
T:Look at picture a.What can you see in the picture?
Ss:There is a man sitting in the chair.
T:How is he?
Ss:It seems relaxing.(help students to pronounce)
T:Yes,its relaxing.Read after me.
Then teach the other words like this.
Have students match the words with the pictures.Then check the answers.
Step 3 练习与体验 (Practice)
1.Let student listen to the tape carefully and check the words they hear in 1a.(1b)
2.Listen again.What does Paul say about these activities?
Write a word from 1a in each blank.(1c)
Step 4 运用与生成 (Production)
Students work in pairs to make free conversation about 1c.by using the adjectives in 1a.
