Menarche:the first time of the menstruation occurring,which is a marks of reproductive maturation for a women (around age 13). Menopause:the last time of menstruation,it means the ovarian failure to ovulation and secretion hormones(around age 50). Follicle,oocyte: mentioned as followed. Ovulation:mentioned as followed. H-P-O axis The normal reproductive life of a woman depends on the cyclic interaction between Hypothalamus,Pituitary,and Ovary through positive and negative feedback loops,termed H-P-O axis. H-P-O axis control and stimulate ovulation,facilitate implantation of the fertilized oocytes,and bring about menstruation. HORMONE SECRETION Hypothalamic GnRH secretion: GnRH:gonadotropin releasing hormone ; A decapeptide hormone; Arcuate nucleus;a center controller; Manner:pulsatile ,70~90min intervals; The mechanism is not clear. neuroendocrinology.
