The paper started with two classical furniture designs which were made of carbon fiber composite material, and based on the deep analysis of their design background and expression, summarized the advantages of expression that the carbon fiber composite material had made in furniture design. These advantages are light quality, thin component, large-sized cantilever, varied banding shape, flexibly weaved structure, rich color and good decorative properties of wood surface.
