民居与传统建筑研究 Research on Vernacular and Traditional Architecture 2014.3 西南石窟寺石刻形象反映的建筑类型 特征研究 * The Research on Architecture Types in Southwest Grottos and its Conservation Strategy 1 2 冯 棣 　张兴国 Feng Di　Zhang Xingguo 摘要　西南石窟寺内雕刻着大量的唐宋建筑形式，这些建筑部分以单体建筑的形式出现，而更多的是以建筑组群的形 式出现。根据目前所掌握的基础数据，可以将其中的建筑类型总结为殿堂、楼阁、城楼、塔、经幢、桥梁等。从建筑 组群布局来讲，西南石窟寺中表现的建筑组群具有两个突出的特点：其一以殿堂为主轴的中心式布局；其二以廊院为 特色的院落布局。 关键词　西南石窟寺；建筑形象；建筑类型；建筑组群布局 aBsTracT　Grotto temple is a special kind of religious buildings, which exhibits a variety of geometric patterns with connotations in the form of carved stones, such as ancient architecture images, decorative ornamentation, musical instruments, national costumes, etc. The information of ancient architecture images is particularly rich, including halls, pagodas, Jing Chuang, residential houses, pavilions and other architectural forms, and it has detailed representations from the building group layout to the architecture detail as well as characteristics of component types. These stone carved architectures exhibit the technical and artistic features of Tang and Song architectures, and provide valuable research materials in the condition of a few architectural examples of Tang Dynasty preserved. Other geometric patterns also provide important basic information for research of related fields. At present, although the historical and artistic value of grotto temples gains attention, there are still many problems in the process of protection. Against the key problems, we propose countermeasures and suggestions in four areas: 1). Emphasize absorbing traditional engineering methods to protect grottos; 2). Construct suitable Shelter buildings in front of grottos; 3). Strengthen protection ideas
