Abstract: To overcom e the shortcom ings resu lted from the preferred integration betw een subjective and
objective weights in mult-i attribute decision-mak ing w ith condition and decision attributes, a quadratic
programm ing model w as proposed to get optmi al w eight integration w ithout preference betw een the
subjective and the objective w eights. In the mode,l the objective w eights are determ ined according to
the attribute mi portance in rough sets theory, and the concepts of basic characteristic of the cell array
in MATLAB and the d istance in a mu lti-dmi ensional space are utilized. An examp le of diagnoses of
flue patientsw as presented to show the feasib ility of the proposedm ethod.
