The effects of the Reynolds C number Re, the groove depth e and pitch p on the heat transfer and flow resistance characteristics of the tube were analyzed. The results are as follows. In the range of Re=10000-45000, the Nusselt number Nu of spirally 模 fluted tube is 1.34 to 2.01 times that of the smooth tube, and increases with Re . Resistance coefficientf is 2.01 to 6.40 times that of the smooth tube, and decreases with the increase of Re . Nu and f increase as e increases, and 凯 decrease as p increases. From the regression analysis, the correlations of heat transfer and resistance of the tube O were obtained for engineering applications.
