Baosteels marine engineering steel includes all grades steel in the specification of Classification Society, ASTM and API, EN etc. The marine structural steel are approvaled by ABS, DNV, CCS, GL, LR, BV Classification Society, and has been used by Singapore SembCorp marine,South Koreas Hyundai Heavy industries, Daewoo shipbuilding and marine, Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd., Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (Group) Co., Ltd., China Merchants heavy industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Dalian shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and other builders, to construct self elevating offshore platform, semi submersible offshore platform, 30 million tons of marine FPSO . In the future, Baosteel will focus on the development of ultra high strength steel, well-welding steel , corrosion resistance steel and so on.
