Abstract: The earthing of secondary circuit of an isolating test transformer on the
circuit for luminaire leakage current test strongly influences the accuracy of test
results. Depend on the test data and circuit theory, the article expatiate the necessity of
the earthing of secondary circuit of isolating test transformer on leakage current test, to
give reference for manufacturers and test houses, and provide the guidance for
carrying out the GB7000.1-2007 Luminaries-Part 1:General requirements and tests.
