Tomato seedli gswere treated via three methods: o ly i duci g with ferme tatio broth of Strep tomyces lyd i- cus A02, i duci g after i oculati g with spore suspe sio of Botrytis cinerea , i oculati g after i duci g. The activities of 4 defe se e zymes i tomato leaves were assayed by ultraviolet-visible absorptio spectroscopy. The results showed that all the three treatme ts could i crease the activities of defe se e zymes, of which the treatme t of i oculati g after i duc- i g prese ted a better i duci g effect o 4 defe se e zymes a d a better co trol effect o tomato gray mold tha i duci g after i oculati g did.
