Indian Food Features India is a vegetarian kingdom. Vegetarian food is one of the basic characters in India cultures. Nearly all people who possess high status and knowledge are vegetarians. They won’t be in the lack of nutrition, because they often drink a lot of milk and every time they have some tea they would add milk and sugar to it. Indian Curry Indian food is famous for the curry. It seems to some “dirty”, but it is delicious and strong taste. Indian people use curry in many cuisines, such as curry rice. It is one of the famous food which Indian people like most. Indian Main Food In north India, the wheat flour pancakes(面制烤饼)is the main food. Dosai (烙饼) is the representative of south India, is also made of rice. Roti Prata(印度飞饼) Indian Samosa(萨莫萨) Indian Chai(印度茶) Indian Dessert * And influenced by religion, all the Indian people eat mutton instead of pork and beef. Besides, tobacco and alcohol are not popular in India. Indian Curry Indian curry is made of many different kinds of spices(香料), such as Masala(马沙拉)，lime(青柠)，red cluster pepper（朝天椒）and so on. All those spices make Indian curry hot and aromatic. Roti prata (some people call it Indian flying cake), a famous snack from India, which is made of flour, circled to bigger and thinner. It is very crispy and tastes a little sweet. Since it becomes more and more popular, it is available not only in India but also all around the world. And it has increasingly new flavors, such as pineapple, chocolate, barbecue and so on. Indian Roti Prata Samosas(印度三角饼) are perhaps the most popular vegetarian Indian food. It is similar to pastry such as fried empanada（肉馅卷饼） with spicy boiled potato stuffing inside crispy flour dough served with spicy chutney.
