Sound在此做不及物动词，意思是“听起来…”;其后可直接跟形容词作表语；常用搭配： Sound … to sb. 某人觉得…; sound like 听起来像 Eg：Maybe the story sounds absurd to you. But it’s true.也许这个故事你听起来觉得荒谬。但他是真的。 Eg：Bob sounds like a nice guy.鲍勃听起来是个不错的人。 2. remain vi These drugs may remain in the meat and can be very dangerous. 用法一：保持（状态），继续，仍然处于；其后可直接跟形容词； Eg：Hours passed. He still remained silent.几个小时过去了，他仍然保持沉默。 Eg：Jim can always remain calm in dangerous situations. 用法二：继续存在，剩余 Eg：Of her three sons only one now remains, the rest were killed in the battle. Eg：He went to the city,but his wife remained in the village.
