My Reflection of A Midsummer Night’s Dream A Midsummer Night’s Dream whose name is like a dream and unreality, is one of British playwright William Shakespeare’s masterpieces. The masterpiece is the most mature comedic works in William Shakespeare’s youth, also is the renowned comedic work which is known as “William Shakespeare’s four major comedy” together with The Merchant of Venice, As You Like it, Twelfth Night. The play presenting a gorgeous love story “ All shall be well, Jack shall have Jill” has so a great influence in world literature especially in drama that descendants adapt it into movies, stories, games , painting and so on. Due to the ethereal sense like dream, and the humorous tone, I am Sometimes reading a certain plot, I have an impulse to laugh, sometimes fascinated by the magic, I am surprised. The major charm is the blending of intense fantasy, poetic lyricism and resourceful dialogue which make the play full of humanities and romantic atmosphere. The book describes a “magic juice” causing the conflict and conflict’s being resolved. In the play, two men Lysander and Demetrius loved a young woman Hermia at the same time, but Hermia loved Lysander, Hermia’s good friend Helena loved Demetrius. Because of Athenian law allowing to put daughter to death if daughter disobeyed to marry a man whom her father required.
