In this paper the devices and several key techniques adopted are firstly illum inated. By shak ing table expermi ents the dynam ic characteristics of the vibration control de- vicesw ere tested. W ith the testing resu lts, the practicalperformance of theTM D that includes frequency and damp- ing needs to satisfy the requ irement for suppressing the vibration and the exciting level for starting w ork and the stiffness level that the frame should have are evaluated. A damp ing schem e ofTLD is optmi ized by the expermi ents too, and then the TLD is installed. F inally, h igh performance of the vibration control devices is conformed.
