Taking Shanghai Pudong east approach bridge section as an ex ample, a numerical model for bridge jacking process w as built to simulate the construction process. Stress analysis on upper structure of bridge w as implemented under six kinds of ad erse jacking operations. Une en jacking produces a greater additional stress between pier roof girder and the main beam horizontal linkages. Scenario fi e is the most unfa orable situation close to the limit stress.
