A Teaching Plan for Unit 5
(In New Practical English Book 2)
I. Teaching Aims:
1. The students should know how to take order, order food, ask for recommendation, and make recommendation while having dinner at a restaurant.
2. Train the students’ ability to understand the cultural differences in ordering western and Chinese food
3. The students should know the way to make a toast speech at a wedding
4. Teach the students some practical writing skills.
