Abstract: the content of textile coating industry in OEKO-TEX 100 standard was introduced. The pollution sources of formaldehyde, total VOC, flame retardant system and PVC coating were simply analyzed and the solutions were put forward.

Preface
Over the past 20 years, developed countries have become increasingly concerned about the safety and environmental awareness of consumers. Consumers are also increasingly looking at textiles from an ecological point of view and willing to pay the price. Conforming to this trend, developed countries, especially the European Union countries, have formulated more and more stringent environmental standards. Especially after China joined the WTO, these standards have become the so-called green barrier. According to statistics, there are as many as 7 billion 400 million dollars of export products blocked by green barrier every year. How to deal with the challenges of technological innovation, from the expense of the environment, low cost, low value-added production to environmental protection, high value-added mode to sustainable development of our textile coating industry must solve the problem.
This paper introduces the OEKO-TEX 100 standard for the textile industry, at the same time, Lubrizol coatings (Shanghai) company also introduced for textile coating industry to provide solutions for environmental protection.
