Handbook for Handling, Storing, and Dispensing E85 Foreword This publication was jointly prepared by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), a Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory, and the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (NEVC). The NEVC is a nonprofit advocacy organization that was established to promote the use of 85% ethanol as a renewable form of alternative transportation fuel while enhancing agricultural profitability, advancing environmental stewardship, and promoting national energy independence.
