ZoologicalSystematics，4O(1)：103-106(January2015)，DOI：10．11865／zs CORRESPOND NC疰 Firstrecordof ei(Hymenoptera：Cephidae) frOm SouthKoreawithdescriptionofanew species M ei—CaiWei，JinKyungChoi，Jong．W ookLee KeyLaboratoryofCultivationandProtectionforNon—WoodForestTrees(CentralSouthUniversityofForestry)andTechnology MinistryofEducation，Changsha410004,China DepartmentofLifeSciences，YeungnamUniversity,Gyeongsan712—749,Korea Correspondingautho~E-mail．jwleel@ynu．ac．kr AbstractThegenusStigmatijanusWei，2007isrecordedfromKoreaforthefirsttime．A diagnosisofthegenusisbriefydiscussed．Anew species，Stigmatooanuskoreanussp．nov．，is describedfrom Mt．Homyeong，Gyeonggi-do，SouthKorea．Akeytothethreespeciesofthe genusisprovided． Keywords Hartigiinae，new species，new record，SouthKorea，Prunus 1 IntrOducti0n ThegenusStigmatijanusWei，2007(Wei＆Nie，2007)isaverysmallgenusofCephidae，with2extantspeciesendemic toChina： stigmaticus(Maa，1949)rfomShandong，Shanghaiand armeniacaeWu，2008rfomGansu．Thegenuscanbe recognizedbythepeculiaranduniquepterostigmaintheforewingwithin thefamily．Thetypespeciesofthegenuswas describedbvMaa(1949)basedonafemalecollectedin1931from ShanghaiChina．Therewasnofurtherrecordofthe speciesuntilweliandNie(2007)reportedasecondfemaleofthespeciesfrom Shandonganderectedthegenus StigmatijanUS．W=uandXin(2008)describedasecondspeciesofStigmatUanusrfomsouthernGansu．Thehostplantof armeniacaeWuisPrunusspp．(Wu＆xin．2008)． In 2013．JWLinvitedM CW tovisitYeungnam University,Gyeongsan，SouthKorea．IntheInsectCollectionof YeungnamUniversity,WMCfound8specimensofStigmatijanusandconfirmedthattheyrepresentanundescribedspecies ofthegenus． ThisiSthefirstrecordofStigmat~anusrfom SouthKorea，anditiSalsohtefirstdistributionrecordoutsideofChina．
