Keyword： terrain influence; the main entrance space of mountainous universities; spatial characteristics; design philosophy; Received： 2016-09-11 “大学者, 研究高深学问者也”、“大学者, ‘囊括大典, 网罗众家’之学府也”, 这是蔡元培先生对大学的定义.高校是人类发展进步的基石, 高校景观规划与设计随着社会的发展也在不断地进步, 不断地完善.国外对高校入口空间研究相对较早, 国内研究高校景观主要针对高校中心景观, 作为高校景观的重要组成部分高校入口空间对其研究的比较少, 本文主要研究受地形影响的大学主入口空间特色及设计原则, 以期对山地型大学主入口空间设计提供一定参考. 1 山地大学主入口空间特色研究 1.1 重庆主城区大学发展及现状 重庆地处中国西南部, 长江上游地区, 地貌以丘陵、山地为主, 坡地面积较大, 由西向东, 有缙云山、中梁山、铜锣山和明月山等带状低山山脉自北向南平行延伸.主城区建设布局依山就势, 城市建筑物依山傍水, 参差错落, 层层叠叠, 具有独特的山城和水城的风
