The amphiphilic nature of HM-EO results in micellization or aggregation of micellars. The micellar aggregates can be charged and their netcharge can be changed by adjusting the pH and conductivity of the bulk solution and sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS). The effect of different salts on the phase behavior of HM-EO aqueous + + solution was very significant. The interaction sequence of cations expressed as K Na , and the 2- - - - - one of anions as SO4 F Cl Br I . The interaction between polymer and anion surfactant was studied by determination of transmittance and conductivity. The addition of SDS to the cationic HM-EO polymer causes the formation of mixed micellar aggregates of SDS and HM-EO.
