ABSTRACT/ Based on the self-organization
theory, considering the self-organizing feature
of traditional villages as the breakthrough
point, this research aims to explore new effects
that characteristics of heter-organization in the
residential construction have on the traditional
v i l l a g e r e n e w a l , f r o m t h e a n g l e o f t h e i r
dialectical relationship, to research principles
and strategies how traditional villages continue
to maintain their vitality and to be updated
incrementally under the new situation in
construction.
