to 1c of Unit 4 in Go For it , I will say it from four parts.
Part One: Analysis of theteaching materials.
1. Status and function.
This lesson is important, it is the first one of this Unit. So if the students learn it well, it will be
useful to learn therest of this Unit.
In this unit, the Ss learn the ways of transportation, such a topic is related to their daily life.
So it can raisethe students’learning interests and improve their spoken English.

Analysis of the students.
Students of Grade 8 have learned English for more than 4 years. They have a good foundation in
words and sentences. They have mastered some skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing .
They have taken a good interest in English now, they enjoy learning English.
