五上Unit 3 My birthday 第二课时教学设计
一、Teaching contents:
Part A let’s talk, group work, let’s find out, let’s sing
二、Teaching aims:
能够听,说,认读句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in February. Is your birthday in February, too? No, my birthday is in…;
能够使用句型“How many birthdays are there in January? There are …” 进行生日情况的调查并填写调查表;
能够听懂,会唱歌曲“When is your birthday?”;
了解中西方主要节日所在的月份及父母,同伴的生日。
三、Teaching important points and difficult points:
Important points: 强化第一课时的句型“When is your birthday? My birthday is in…并听,说,认读新句型:Is your birthday in …, too?
Difficult points:学生要根据实际情况使用多样化的表达方式,如:When is your birthday? Is your birthday in February, too? How many birthdays are there in January以及When is Children’s Day?避免机械性地重复同一个句型。

word cards、 PPT课件、the blackboard and the chalks
五、Teaching steps:
Step1 Warm-up:(5’)
全班吟唱课本P26页的let’s chant, 边说边做动作;
大转盘游戏:教师出示标有12个月份的大转盘,在转动指针前提问:Which month is it?让学生猜测,如:It’s January/February…
(Assumptions: 通过歌谣热身使学生自然联想上一节课内容,在轻松愉悦的环境中进入教学;通过转盘游戏猜月份,调动了学生学习的积极性,又复习了A部分的单词。)
Step2 Preview :( 5’)
1)当转盘指针到March, T:Yeah, it’s March. And my birthday is in March. When is your birthday, S1? (此句型重复两遍,且放慢语速。)
S1: My birthday is in January.
T: What about you, S2? When is your birthday?
S2:My birthday is in …
2) Group work:
学生二人一组,模仿以上对话进行“连锁问答”。
(Assumptions:通过师生之间,生生之间的交流,学生复习上节课的基本句型。)
3)教师随便抽二组或三组的学生对他们进行询问,检查学生讨论成果。并用“Is your birthday in January ,too?”来让学生感知新句型。
(Assumptions:通过师生之间的对话,让学生提前感知新句型。)
Step 3 Presentation:
Let’s talk:(10’)
T: Now, you have known my birthday and your partners’ birthday. Do you want to know Mike, Amy and Zhangpeng’s birthday? Turn to pageP29. Listen and answer. (放两遍)让学生讨论后,举手回答问题。
Let’s Ss listen and repeat;
让学生三人一组练习该对话,并用自己和同伴的实际姓名和生日替换对话中的相应部分。T请几组学生表演他们的对话.
(Assumptions:利用任务型教学的形式,让学生带着问题去听,检测学生的听力与理解力;让学生三人一组进行对话并替换关键词,可以使学生加深对对话的理解,并学会将知识进行迁移。)
Group work :( 5’)
教师组织学生进行“我是小记者”的采访活动。每组安排一个小记者进行记录。最后请部分小组长做现场报道,如:There are three birthdays in May.
(Assumptions:学生利用所学句型,收集数据。)
