A bstrac t: The floral biolo y, num bers of inflorescence, ratios of fem ale flower and ratios of seed in d ifferent zone, d ifferent li ht sup-
p ly and different space of Ja trop ha curcus w ere studied in th is paper. The results show ed that the individual flower lasted 2- 3 d, the
inflorescence flow erin lasted 10- 25 d, and the florescence of a population cou ld bem ore than six m onths in the south Yunnan, Ch-i
na. The flow er opened at around 8: 00 and closed at around 19: 00
