Vol.15 ，No.4 ·专 论 · 招生倾斜政策下重点大学农村学生 的学业准备和初期学业表现 ———基于 X 大学的实证案例研究 牛新春 （复旦 大学 高等教育研 究所 ，上海 ２００433 ） 摘要 ：基 于部委直属 X 大学 ２０ 14 级新生学业记录和一年级调研数据 ，使 用核密度和 多元回归模型分析 方法，考察三类农村学生绩点、院系内排名、挂科三个不同学业表现指标。 农村定额计划学生初期学业表现 并不弱于城市学生，但贫 困定向和农村普招学生处于显著劣势，在工程技术类学科 中尤其严重 ，在 医科药学 院系内的排名呈两极分化 ；贫 困定向、农村普招学生与城市学生在 学业表现上的显著差异 ，相 当程度反映 了 东西部 区域差异 ，以及西部地 区更为严重的城 乡差异 ；农村学生和城市学生相 比，虽然高考分数并不逊 色或 仅有轻微劣势，高中排名也不逊 色甚至更 占优 ，但是各方面学业准备处于相 当劣势，并对其大学初期学业表 现差异有显著影响。 结果表 明，重点大学应注重对社会科 学类学生数 学和时间管理方面的帮助 ，注重对工 程和 医科类学生数 学和学习技能方面的帮助 ，以削减城 乡学生学业表现差异。 关键词 ：招生倾斜政策 ；学业表现 ；农村学生；高考分数 Early Academic Performance of Rural Students under Special Admission Policies： Evidence from an Elite University NIU Xin－chun （Research Institute f or Higher Education, Fudan University, Shanghai 200433, China ） Abstract： The government has implemented a series of special admission policies in recent years to increase the access to elite universities for rural students. However, it is concerning that these rural students might underperform due to disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds and academic preparation. Using administrative data and survey data of ２０ 14 freshman cohort at X University, applying kernel density estimation and regression analysis techniques, we examine students freshman year academic performance, focusing on GPA, rank within the major and class failure.
