Unit 1 Art ;虚拟语气Subjunctive Mood (I);语气的分类;3.虚拟语气(The Subjunctive Mood)表示说话人所说的话不是事实,而是一种假设,愿望,怀疑或推测.;虚拟语气在‘if ’ 条件句中的用法;2）与过去事实相反 ; 3）与将来事实可能相反 ;2.if的省略 如果条件句中有were,had,should 等助动词，可将if省略，而把were,had或should置于句首,来表达以if引导的条件句的相同意思。 Eg： Should it rain/were it to rain tomorrow, the meeting would be put off. Had he seen you yesterday, he would have returned your book.;3.含蓄条件句与主句. 即用without(＝but for),or(else)代替if从句。 Eg： Without/But for his help, we wouldn’t have made such great progress. ＝If we hadn’t got his help, we wouldn’t have made such great progress.;4. 错综时间虚拟条件句:即条件从句与主句所指时间不一致，如从句指过去，而主句即指的是现在或将来，此时应根据具体的语境情况对时态作相应的调整。如： ;二. 虚拟语气在名词性从句中的用法;I wish I were as tall as you.;;I wish/wished I hadn’t eaten so much watermelon.;The party was terrible, I wish I had never gone to it.;(3) 表示对将来的主观愿望: 从句动词形式为 “ would＋动词原形”。;I wish it would not rain tomorrow.;2. 表示要求，命令，建议等的虚拟语气。“一二三四”;Eg. 我们建议Tom 去休息一下。 他坚决要求我到场。 国王命令囚犯明天要实施死刑。 他们要求我们派他们去那儿工作。; 以上动词相应的名词（order, advice, suggestion, proposal, demand, request, desire etc.）构成的名词性从句包括主语从句，表语从句和同位语从句 也要使用虚拟语气。从句中的动词形式一 样。即：(should)＋V. ; insist/suggest不接虚拟的用法;3. The look on his face suggested that he was unhappy. 4.The specialist suggested that children should not eat too much sugar ;A.在句型 “It is important (necessary, strange, natural) that .... ” 中，that 后面的从句中的谓语动词用： should + 动词原形 我们有必要出去散散步。 It’s necessary that we should have a walk now.  2 她这样做是很自然的。 It’s natural that she should do so.  3 重要的是我们要照顾好病人。 It’s important that we should take good care of the patient. ;B. 在It is demanded/suggested/ordered/required…. that-clause句型中从句用(should )+动词原型 It is demanded that we should work out a plan. ;3. It’s (about/high) time +(that)…; 1.
