It is one of the first batch of keystone middle schools in Guangdong province and modern education technology experimentation schools. It is also a Provincial A-class Middle School. Its predecessor was Huaying Middle School founded by British Christianism Chinese Methodism in 1913.There are 51 classes in the school (including 4 classes of Tibetan students), 2,645 students in total and 22
