Automatic transmission can be repeated for the acceleration, deceleration, speed transmission, and other functions, the speed with smooth, light and other advantages of driving. But companed with the traditional manual transmission, there are issues such as complex structures, detection, diagnosis and difficult maintenance,so this study is on common-vehicle automatic transmission failure 。 This paper discusses the development of the automatic transmission, automatic transmission and the composition, structure, character, principle research.
