感染文本（appeal-focused）:对文本的听着或读者产生吸引力，以诱使他们做出预期的举动；包括：广告、宣传、布道、辩论；翻译要求：译文在目标语中产生的效果和原文在原语中产生的效果一样。 视听媒介文本（audio-medial text） Katharina Reiss’s work in the 1970s builds on the concept of equivalence but views the text, rather than the word or sentence, as the level at which communication is achieved and at which equivalence must be sought. His functional approach aims initially at systematizing the assessment of translations. It borrows Karl Buhler’s three-way categorization of the functions of language. The main characteristics of each text type are summarized by Reiss as follows: 1 Plain communication of facts: information, knowledge, opinions, etc. The language dimension used to transmit the information is logical or referential, the content or topic is the main focus of the communication, and the text type is informative. 2 Creative composition: the author uses the aesthetic dimension of language. The author or sender is foregrounded, as well as the form of the message, and the text type is expressive. * Katharina Reiss 卡特琳娜·莱斯 卡特琳娜·莱斯（1923-）:毕业于德国海德堡（Heidelberg, 德国西南部城市）大学翻译学院，长期在大学从事翻译研究与教学工作。她是20世纪70年代德国功能学派的创始人之一。 德国功能学派注重文本的类型以及译文功能。 此学派的代表人物有：莱斯（Katharina Reiss）：文本类型理论；弗米尔（Hans J Vermeer）：目的论；霍斯-曼特瑞（Justa Holz-Manttari）：翻译行为理论；诺德（Christiane Nord）：功能加忠诚理论。 她发表了大量有关翻译的论文和评论，主要著作：Moglichkeiten und Grenzen der Ubersetzungscritik. (Translation Criticism: the Potentials and Limitations)（《翻译批评——潜能与局限性》/《翻译批评——潜力与制约》/《翻译批评的可能性与局限性》/《翻译批评——前景与局限》）。这是卡特琳娜·莱斯的经典之作。该书于1971年以德语出版，1978年再版，在2000年被Erroll F.
