Thoughts on the curriculum project after the reform to the new types of CET-4 and CET-6 Abstract: After the reform of the types of the test of CET-4 and CET-6, the public English-teaching is required to a higher proficiency. Accordingly the author gives some thoughts on the curriculum project on the bases of the former experience and achievements. According to this reform, the teaching is required to emphasize the main position of the students and to deal with the relation between teaching and learning correctly; to improve the comprehensive ability of the students, especially the ability of listening and speaking; to improve the comprehensive reading ability.
